Booking Policies

Running late

Clients are encouraged to arrive to 5 minutes early to your appointment.

 

Please contact us if you are running late. Any client who fails to arrive to their appointment on time without informing us of this prior to the appointment, may risk losing their appointment.

 

If a client's arrival times exceeds 10 minutes past their scheduled appointment time, the appointment will be automatically cancelled and the deposit will be forfeited. You may also be charged in full.

 

Deposits

A deposit is required to secure all bookings. Paying a deposit confirms that you intend to turn up to your appointment and agree to all booking policies.

By paying your deposit you are securing a specific date and time, if you need to cancel this appointment and want to re book a new appointment, a new booking and deposit is required.

 

Cancellations

24 hours notice is required to cancel your appointment. Failing to cancel prior to 24 hours before your appointment you will be charged the full amount of your appointment.

 

Refunds & Credit Notes

Refunds are not applicable when the client cancels their appointment. 
If you test positive to COVID only then a credit note will be provided to the client. Proof must be provided. Please note, event cancelations, illness, poor weather conditions, travel dilemmas, change of mind, including any similar reasons are not applicable to receive a credit note. 

Full refunds will only apply when Makeup by Elana has to cancel the appointment.
